Drowning – Lost Love Poems
Help me I am drowning in a sea of emotion
Swallowed by loves vast empty ocean.
Help me as I’m being thrashed by the violence of the sea
She cares not for a man such as me.
A man like me who loved you from
Body to soul from head to feet
A man like me who loved you truthfully and deep.
You came to my room last night and handled me really sweet
You held me close and kissed me passionately and deep.
I held you all through the night we cuddled deep and warm
your head upon my chest listening to my hearts beating little storm
I just wish you could look at me like you looked at him
deep and with love, instead of void and dim.
I wish I had the answer I wish I could win your heart.
What do you do when your whole world falls apart?
