Winter Fire – Romantic Poetry

The dark of the room pushes us together
Locking our secrets between us
The way the red ribbon seals your gift–
Small token of my love for you–
Hidden in the fuzzy stocking by the door.

The cold wind whistles outside
Jealous of the fire
Burning wildly between us–
Bright and warm as the summer–
As we lay claim our old couch.

Christmas Eve is not nearly as exciting
As the Christmas night we share
Curled beneath cheap strands of light–
Badly hung with tacks and tape–
With forgotten nog warming on the table.

It’s Like This, Darling – Poetry For Love

Everywhere I ever go
that you are not beside me
is without a doubt
the loneliest place on earth.

I can’t deny
the truth of what I feel inside
that even a crowded room
is as empty as a cold dark heart
without you to fill it with light.

I need you more
than the air I breathe
for every time you say goodbye
it’s like my oxygen tank is slowly running out.

Watching you walk away
is like one of those bad dreams
where everything happens
and I just can’t move to stop it.

But for those few sweet moments
when you hold me in your arms
and I feel your heat and your rythmic heartbeat
that’s the dream I don’t want to wake up from.

Angel – Sad Love Poems

Twisted and darkened by a fate so clear,
I long to be in touch with something so dear,
It clings to me like a child,
Crying and begging all the while
For something so primeval,
I feel like the new medieval

Dripping from lucious stingers,
Begging you not to linger,
Breathe into me the dark truth
And I’ll know it was written in a book

Long ago I knew of such deeds,
Preformed for such a notorious need

I saw Lucifer in thine eyes,
And knew
You were the greatest angel of all

Engagement – Love Poetry

Star crossed lovers
We’d like to say
Laid there beside you
Today was the day

I held the ring so firmly
Clenched within my palm
To await a perfect moment
Percieved with passion and with charm.

So I took a deep big breath
And flit onto my knee
Your face ever so beautiful
Lit with eternal glee.

I ask you to wed me
To be my lawfully, wedded wife
Your smile lights up my world, my love
to have you in my life.

I saw it in your eyes tonight
With a band of gold
Linking our future together
Our story beging to unfold.

Every Turtle – Love Poems

Every thought for you is a mini contribution to my ever growing love for the blue Queen of my heart.

Every beat pounds similar to wild drums pounding out “never part.”

The sun shines extra bright when she is closer near.

My love for you burns for infinity so I have no fear.

How To Use Love Words

The How

Remember that a personal touch is always best. Just make your own personal message and send it directly from your personal email address or text.

The Why

You can give a Love Message for no reason at all. Outside of a birthday or Valentine's Day, a love message is perfect after a disappointment, an argument, or an accomplishment.

The Where

Put your love message in a purse or pocket; use in place of a typical gift tag; tape on car windows; write on dinner napkins; place on the Frig or bathroom mirror; put under favorite cologne or perfume. Leave on the answering machine. You're only limited by your imagination.

The When

Love is the first thing in the morning to start the day off right; and is till Late at night to cap off the day.
