Engagement – Love Poetry
Star crossed lovers
We’d like to say
Laid there beside you
Today was the day
I held the ring so firmly
Clenched within my palm
To await a perfect moment
Percieved with passion and with charm.
So I took a deep big breath
And flit onto my knee
Your face ever so beautiful
Lit with eternal glee.
I ask you to wed me
To be my lawfully, wedded wife
Your smile lights up my world, my love
to have you in my life.
I saw it in your eyes tonight
With a band of gold
Linking our future together
Our story beging to unfold.
